Celebrate Mama!

What a beautiful and amazing day we had at Celebrate Mama in Bethesda! It was wonderful to meet and connect with so many expectant and new parents in the area -- you were all fabulously fun and interesting to hang out with yesterday. We met, among many super-fab others: a hilariously funny mommy blogger; a dad who came by himself all the way from Japan to house shop for his wife, 3 daughters, and child on the way (who did not care to show his/her parts at the one ultrasound they were allowed -- and apparently the Japanese have not jumped on the ultrasound-in-the-mall bandwagon!); a mom who thought she was all done having children and donated all of her 5-year-old's baby gear, only to find out that she's expecting once again; and an expectant mom and dad who had shared their baby's gender with their 9-year-old daughter, but not with anyone else, including the baby's grandpa, who was with them at the event. Five hours and the time flew, thanks to all of you!

The event itself was a huge success. Hilary Berman from Berman Events (bermanevents.com) did a fabulous job putting it all together -- thank you for including us! We loved seeing new and old friends: Safestart Baby (safestartbaby.com), Pat Keating from Holy Cross Hospital (holycrosshealth.org/svc_maternity_main.htm), Eco Babies (ecobabiesonline.com), Brian at Equinox (equinox.com), Certifikid (www.certifikid.com), Mommy Relief (mommy-relief.com), Macaroni Kids Bethesda (bethesda.macaronikid.com), and the Breastfeeding Center of Washington DC (breastfeedingcenter.org), among many others!
Thanks Three Lollies (threelollies.com) -- the Preggie Pops were a big hit with our preggie visitors, and Moby Wrap (mobywrap.com), you made one lucky mama very happy!

Lastly, a HUGE thank you to Britax for the hands-down best raffle prize of the day! (britaxusa.com/strollers/b-ready)

We are so grateful for the support of all our fans, friends, and sponsors!
